Il telaio Clevo P751DM2, vecchio di tre anni, comincia a mostrare la sua età. Mentre il sistema è in grado di gestire l'ultima CPU Core i9 di Intel, non può sfruttare appieno l'elevato potenziale di Turbo Boost del processore senza raggiungere temperature ben oltre i 90 °C.

Il Core i9-9900K originale non aveva molto spazio per l'overclocking e quindi non sorprende che il Core i9-9900KS non sia diverso. Il Core i9-9900KS nello Sky X4C si stabilizzerà a 4.4 GHz e 88 C o solo 400 MHz sopra la frequenza di clock di base del processore. Laptops più grandi come l'Alienware Area-51m el'MSI GT76 con l'i9-9900K sono in grado di eguagliare o superare le prestazioni dell'i9-9900KS nel nostro Eurocom. Per quanto versatile possa essere questo telaio Clevo vecchio di tre anni, la serie Core i9 sta spingendo al limite con poco spazio a disposizione. È giunto il momento per Clevo di aggiornare questo sistema per sfruttare al meglio l'elevato potenziale di Turbo Boost delle CPU Intel Core i9.

Da un punto di vista gen-to-gen, i9-9900K e 9900KS sono dal 35 al 45% più veloci dei modelli i7-8700K e i7-9700K. Si può ancora beneficiare dell'aggiornamento a un Core i9 a questo proposito, ma non aspettatevi molto potenziale di overclocking della CPU sul laptop Sky X4C.

    Super veloce, ma anche super caldo. Configurare un computer portatile con il Core i9-9900KS significa volersi vantarsi, specialmente considerando che il Core i9-9900K originale funziona in modo molto simile. L'Eurocom Sky X4C è in grado di gestire l'i9-9900KS stabilmente ad un valore di clock del 10% superiore al valore di clock di base, anche se la CPU è in grado di fare di più su un desktop adeguato.
