Sulla carta non c'è nulla di molto speciale per l'MSI GF62VR. Offre prestazioni buone e un display con colori ricchi, ma si tratta di uno schermo TN scarso, con una terribile precisione del colore, e poi ci sono le ventole rumorose. La storia del GF62VR è un compromesso; per ogni aspetto positivo ne troviamo uno negativo. Il risultato finale è un ottimo portatile che pecca in aree critiche (display, rumorosità, e qualità di costruzione).

Tuttavia, se consideriamo il prezzo, il portatile risulta molto più attraente. Partendo da USD $1300, il GF62VR è nella fascia di prezzo di portatili che montano la GTX 1050 Ti. La maggioranza di portatili con componenti simili costano circa $200-300 in più. Inoltre le prestazioni gaming superano i competitors e il GF62VR risulta essere uno degli affari migliori come portatile gaming attualmente sul mercato.

Ora pensiamo agli aspetti negativi. A fronte di un ottimo rapporto prezzo/performance, avrete uno schermo pessimo, che necessita di calibrazione, e ventole rumorose, oltre a plastiche che sembrano imitare malamente gli chassis premium. Ma tutto questo potrebbe avere un senso per qualche cliente.

I gamers che non si interessano all'estetica e vogliono solo giocare, si troveranno bene con il GF62VR. Il principale concorrente del GF62VR è il vecchio GE62VR. Troverete GE62VR usati sul mercato con un display IPS, dovrebbero essere la scelta migliore. Tuttavia, se volete un nuovo portatile gaming con una GTX 1060, il GF62VR dovrebbe essere sulla vostra lista.
