Quanto bene può la nuova AMD Radeon 680M eseguire Cyberpunk 2077 o Crysis Remastered? Abbastanza bene per una GPU integrata. Le prestazioni possono essere oltre 2x più veloce della Intel Iris Xe 96 EUs in alcuni casi per essere quasi alla pari con la serie discreta Nvidia GeForce 1650 a volte.

Uno degli aspetti più eccitanti della serie mobile Zen 3+ è la sua GPU integrata massicciamente aggiornata. L'aggiornamento è così significativo che AMD ha deciso di abbandonare il precedente nome RX Vega per un più semplice nome Radeon. I portatili di quest'anno con CPU Ryzen 6000U o 6000H di fascia alta cominceranno a portare la grafica integrata Radeon 660M o 680M per succedere alla serie RX Vega di ultima generazione.

Asus è stata così gentile da inviarci il suo Zephyrus G14 GA402R equipaggiato con il Ryzen 9 6900HS CPU e Radeon 680M integrata a scopo di test. I nostri risultati di benchmark qui sotto confrontano questa Radeon 680M contro la media Iris Xe 96 EU nel nostro database oltre alla Iris Xe 80 EUs e le GPU entry-level Nvidia GeForce come la MX150, MX450e GTX 1650.

Nei benchmark sintetici di 3DMark, la Radeon 680M si trova comodamente tra la GTX 1650 Max-Q e la MX450 per essere circa il 40-60 per cento davanti alla Iris Xe 96 EUs. Impressionante, la GPU AMD integrata è anche in grado di mantenere il suo vantaggio sia sulla MX450 che sulla Iris Xe 96 EUs in tutti i giochi testati, a volte anche di 2x. Elden Ring, in particolare, può funzionare a 30 FPS con impostazioni medie a 1080p, mentre sia la Iris Xe che la MX450 scendono spesso al di sotto di questo valore a causa del loro minore overhead di prestazioni.

Ora, vale la pena ricordare che la Radeon 680M nel nostro esempio è accoppiata con la velocissima e non comune CPU Ryzen 9 6900HS serie H. Le prestazioni saranno indubbiamente peggiori di quelle che abbiamo mostrato qui sui portatili con la stessa GPU ma una CPU Ryzen serie U più lenta. Anche così, i risultati sono comunque molto promettenti per la Radeon 680M tutto sommato.
