Il chip MediaTek MT9638 AI alimenterà la prossima generazione di smart TV 4K
MediaTek ha presentato oggi il suo ultimo chip progettato per i prossimi televisori intelligenti 4K. Chiamato MT9638, il processore integrerà l'hardware AI per aumentare le prestazioni delle funzioni quotidiane della smart TV come la super risoluzione, la qualità dell'immagine, l'assistenza vocale, VRR e altro. Le regolazioni automatiche del display in tempo reale possono cambiare dinamicamente per ridurre il rumore o aumentare la risoluzione a seconda di ciò che sta proiettando sullo schermo. I miglioramenti creeranno in definitiva un'esperienza utente senza soluzione di continuità.
Al di fuori dell'AI, l'MT9638 integrerà anche Wi-Fi 6, supporto HDR10+, HDMI 2.1a e supporto audio Dolby Atmos e DTS Virtual X.
MediaTek dice di aver venduto oltre due miliardi dei suoi chip TV a livello globale, il che significa che c'è una buona probabilità che la TV nel vostro salotto sia alimentata da un processore MediaTek. Come per molti gadget per la casa intelligente, la maggior parte delle aziende non pubblicizzano quali processori sono all'interno a scapito di MediaTek poiché sminuisce la riconoscibilità del brand "MediaTek".

with an integrated high-performance AI processing unit (APU). MT9638 supports cutting-edge AI-
enhancement technologies such as AI super resolution, AI picture quality and AI voice assistants, plus
variable refresh rate (VRR) and MEMC (motion estimation and motion compensation) so graphics
appear smoother. With its high performance processing for optimized visual quality, MT9638 gives
