OnePlus 13 non è un enorme avanzamento tecnologico rispetto alla precedente generazione, quanto piuttosto un affinamento. L'anno scorso la strategia non era chiara, ora lo è decisamente di più. OnePlus vuole competere ad armi pari con gli altri premium del mercato, anche se con il rischio di perdere un po' il suo fattore unicità. Questo è uno smartphone veramente ottimo a cui si può contestare poco, ma che rischia di perdersi nella mischia. Scontato nei prossimi mesi però potrebbe diventare uno dei prodotti più interessanti. Come è già successo con OnePlus 12.

OnePlus 13 ci aveva promesso un top di gamma, e non ci ha deluso durante i test di questa recensione. Lo smartphone ha un bel design, un ottimo display, prestazioni irreprensibili e (soprattutto) scatta fotografie davvero splendide. Nei ritratti e nella Master Mode si vede tutta l’esperienza di Hasselblad. L’autonomia ci sembra solo buona quando avrebbe potuto (e forse sarà) eccezionale; e OxygenOS 15, pur funzionando molto bene, non è la nostra interfaccia Android preferita. Ma ci sembra che OnePlus 13 faccia bene dove non eccelle: è uno smartphone al top, senza dubbio. Detto questo, il prezzo sopra i mille euro per la versione da 256GB di memoria non è certo basso, e per avere più spazio (512GB) si arriva a 1.179 euro.

Per 1029€ al lancio potremmo dire che il OnePlus 13 è un buon acquisto. Non parliamo di un prezzo folle e non sappiamo ancora se ci sarà qualche bundle intrigante. Probabilmente dopo un OnePlus 11 e OnePlus 12 snobbati dalla grande massa, l'azienda cinese è finalmente riuscita a suscitare interesse attorno al suo nuovo top di gamma. Paradossalmente però quest'anno rischia di essere il più complicato per l'azienda, trovandosi lì a metà fra il Realme GT 7 Pro e l'OPPO Find X8 Pro. Il vero rivale è chiaramente quest'ultimo, dal momento che risulta un telefono che punta tutto ad essere bilanciatissimo, ma l'OPPO ha qualcosa in più come la fotocamera 6X extra. Cosa farà quindi la fortuna di questo device? Lo street price.

Mettersi a fare i soliti discorsi sulla "OnePlus di una volta", quella che faceva telefoni ottimi e che costavano meno degli altri ecc ecc è inutile. OnePlus adesso è questa, un'azienda che tira fuori varie fasce di smartphone e che per i top, come OnePlus 13, ha prezzi da top. Il listino infatti parte da 1.029 euro nella versione 12/256GB e arriva a 1.179 euro per la 16/512GB che ho provato io. Sono davvero tanti, non ci sono dubbi, io li spenderei? A priori avrei detto di no, ma provandolo inizio a pensare che in realtà sia una soglia psicologica. Rimanendo in famiglia abbiamo il Realme GT7 Pro che è davvero simile e costa meno ma abbiamo qualcosa in meno in costruzione e materiali, dall'altra il Find X8 Pro di Oppo che costa più o meno uguale ed è in più un cameraphone ma anche lui non è così piacevole da usare nel quotidiano per ergonomia e bilanciamento del peso. Insomma, questo OnePlus 13 costa tanto, ma ha il suo perché.

Il nuovo nato, OnePlus 13, rappresenta perfettamente la mission del produttore, e questo ci piace molto, andando a enfatizzarne prestazioni, design e qualità costruttiva, messe in primissimo piano. Un software eccellente a corredo, dotato di tanta e utile AI, un comparto fotocamera completo e versatile, ottimo display e sistema di ricarica rapido e tecnologico oltre a un’eccezionale autonomia e qualità delle chiamate vocali completano un device che ha davvero pochi punti deboli. Potremmo dire che i 4 anni di major update sono inferiori ad alcuni competitor, che i sensori fotocamera complementari non hanno la stessa qualità di quello principale o che l’audio stereo non ci soddisfa a pieno, ma nel complesso sono piccoli punti a sfavore che non vanno a influire sul nostro giudizio altamente positivo.

Avendo ormai appurato che non si tratta più di un marchio che vuole distinguersi con il gagliardetto di “flagship killer”, OnePlus 13 si presenta come un top di gamma a tutti gli effetti, compreso il prezzo. Al netto delle solite promozioni sui marchi cinesi che mitigheranno l’acquisto con dispositivi gratuiti abbinati (nel momento in cui scriviamo si può scegliere anche di avere gratis un OnePlus Watch 2R), OnePlus 13 si offre a 1.029 euro per il taglio da 12/256 GB e a 1.179 euro per quello da 16/512 GB da noi provato. Sono prezzi alti, ma sono ormai quelli di un top di gamma, che però devono essere comunque giustificati dal dispositivo che si acquista con una cifra importante; e OnePlus 13 non ha punti deboli evidenti che possano evitargli la convocazione nella squadra dei flagship.

OnePlus 13, lo smartphone atteso dai più, colui che viene di anno in anno considerato il vero flagship killer anche per via del prezzo contenuto rispetto la concorrenza. Quest’anno il prezzo lievita leggermente rompendo la soglia dei 1000€, parliamo di 1029€ per il taglio 12/256GB e 1179€ per il taglio 16/512GB. Sicuramente sono prezzi più bassi rispetto i top di gamma della concorrenza più conosciuta, come può essere Samsung o Apple. Differenza che a parità di memoria arriva anche a 400€ e OnePlus 13 ha tutte le carte in regola per essere trattato come un vero e proprio top di gamma!

OnePlus 13, lo smartphone atteso dai più, colui che viene di anno in anno considerato il vero flagship killer anche per via del prezzo contenuto rispetto la concorrenza. Quest’anno il prezzo lievita leggermente rompendo la soglia dei 1000€, parliamo di 1029€ per il taglio 12/256GB e 1179€ per il taglio 16/512GB. Sicuramente sono prezzi più bassi rispetto i top di gamma della concorrenza più conosciuta, come può essere Samsung o Apple. Differenza che a parità di memoria arriva anche a 400€ e OnePlus 13 ha tutte le carte in regola per essere trattato come un vero e proprio top di gamma!

However, I am not going to drag this out any more than is needed. Simply put although this is one of the 1st major brand launches of the year with the new Snapdragon Chipset onboard it is in my opinion one of the best phones currently available to the wider global market. I would be very happy to continue to use this phone daily and if I wasn’t so hooked on foldable phones I would certainly being doing so. While I fully expect the next phone series from Samsung to be up with the OnePlus 13 in terms of specs I also expect it to be way more expensive.

Photos are detailed, with great results from each of the three different cameras. The colors are accurate and nicely saturated. The white balance, on the whole, is accurate, although it can veer slightly warmer, however, consistency has been a minor issue with some quirks in white balance and processing as you switch between cameras.And when it comes to hardware, I wish OnePlus had chosen to go further than a 3x optical zoom camera, I am a big zoom fan, and this doesn’t quite do it for me – I would really hope for at least a 5x optical zoom.

More importantly, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is one flagship that can give OnePlus’s improved camera zoom a run for its money thanks to 100x Space Zoom from its dual-telephoto setup. In the end, the OnePlus 13 is a solid phone. It’s really powerful, can go for ages on a full charge, refills quickly, has a brilliant display and versatile camera system. It’s all the things you’d want a OnePlus phone to be. Does it move the needle much beyond what the OnePlus 12 offers? In some ways – specifically around performance and battery life. But, there’s an argument to be made here that not many people will feel the benefit of that extra power, because you need to push it really hard to make the most of all that extra ‘oomph’. Still, if you want a fast, long-lasting, versatile flagship phone alternative to Google and Samsung’s, it’s a great choice. I’d still be tempted to pick up the Oppo Find X8 Pro, for a little more refinement in design instead or the Vivo X200 Pro for the epic zoom camera.

I’ve been using the OnePlus 13 as my primary phone for about a month now, and it has been fantastic. I love the photos it takes, the speed and smoothness of the software, the striking design, the Midnight Ocean color, and how comfortable it is to hold. It’s the little things that make it so good to own, such as the vastly improved fingerprint sensor, tactile haptics, the Alert Slider’s helpfulness, and the incredible efficiency that leads to long battery life. The screen is overly sensitive, though, and I’d like the notifications to be more reliable, but these are small issues that don’t dramatically detract from the rest of the phone. OnePlus chose not to do a lot of camera upgrades this time around, so we're not really raving about it as a cameraphone. Don't get us wrong though - it remains a solid picture-taking device, with somewhat of a standout ultrawide. We'd have liked to see a closer-focusing telephoto - you'll need to look elsewhere for one of those. OP is also staying away from the display brightness race - but that's more of a blemish in the tests page than a real issue with the 13. The 13 is, in fact, quite great on the fundamentals, offering some of the longest battery life in the class, together with speedy top-ups. No longer trailing in dust and water resistance, it's now as well-sealed as the rest, and it's even a step ahead in the build department thanks to its magnetic accessories capability.

I love the photos it takes, the speed and smoothness of the software, the striking design, the Midnight Ocean color, and how comfortable it is to hold. It’s the little things that make it so good to own, such as the vastly improved fingerprint sensor, tactile haptics, the Alert Slider’s helpfulness, and the incredible efficiency that leads to long battery life. OP is also staying away from the display brightness race - but that's more of a blemish in the tests page than a real issue with the 13. La batteria da 6000mAh è un mostro di autonomia: con un uso intenso, incluso gaming e foto, arriva tranquillamente a fine giornata. Il 13R brilla particolarmente per chi cerca un telefono veloce e affidabile, capace di reggere sessioni di gaming e di fare foto soddisfacenti. Non è perfetto – l’ultrawide potrebbe essere migliore e manca la ricarica wireless – ma sono compromessi accettabili considerando il prezzo. Se volete uno smartphone che non vi faccia spendere più di 800€ ma vi dia prestazioni da 1000€+, questo fa per voi. È la prova che OnePlus non ha perso il suo tocco nel creare “flagship killer” che offrono un valore eccezionale: rispetto al fratello maggiore OnePlus 13, 13R punta su una batteria più capiente e un prezzo più accessibile mantenendo comunque prestazioni di alto livello.

OnePlus 13R si è comportato piuttosto bene durante la nostra recensione, anche considerando il prezzo di 769 euro. La differenza rispetto al fratello maggiore (che invece ha un cartellino a quattro cifre) si vede soprattutto nella fotocamera più prestante, con stabilizzazione ottica per i video. Ma anche se ha display e processore peggiore sulla carta, nell’uso quotidiano si difende piuttosto bene: vedrete le differenze solo in un confronto diretto. In altre parole, arriva giusto a un passo da un buon top di gamma, per 260 euro in meno. Detto questo, la verità è che la fascia di prezzo sotto i top di gamma è sempre più nutrita: ci sono diversi rivali a questo smartphone che offrono alternative ottime. E il fatto che costi 70 euro di più rispetto al 12R dell’anno scorso non aiuta, sebbene siano tutti giustificati da diverse migliorie tecniche.

Siamo alle battute finali della recensione di OnePlus 13R, proposto a 769 Euro di listino nell’unico taglio di memoria previsto 12+256 GB. Per una prima fase di lancio sono previste promozioni interessanti come l‘omaggio dello smartwatch OnePlus Watch 2R, o delle cuffiette true wireless OnePlus Buds 3 Pro. Così come avviene per tutti i telefoni di fascia medio-alta da qualche parte bisogna risparmiare, ci sono brand che scelgono di farlo sul comparto hardware, sul display, sulla batteria, altri, come OnePlus, che storicamente si rivolge ai più “smanettoni”, che ha ha preferito curare maggiormente gli aspetti tecnici legati alle performance e alla multimedialità, rinunciando però ad un comparto fotografico all’altezza della situazione.

In conclusione il OnePlus 13R è un buon telefono e se calerà di prezzo attorno ai 500€ siamo certi che venderà tantissimo. Ad oggi, a 769€, rischia di essere completamente eclissato dal precedente OnePlus 12 che ha dalla sua la ricarica wireless, delle foto e video da top di gamma, un display migliore, microfoni migliori e tutto sommato lo stesso SoC. Sì, OnePlus 13R ha 500mAh in più di batteria, ha una gestione delle temperature migliore, ma ciò non giustifica l'acquisto di fronte allo stesso prezzo. Insomma OnePlus rischia di farsi la "guerra in casa", perlomeno fin quando non ci sarà un calo di prezzo o OnePlus 12 non uscirà di scena (ad oggi è ancora acquistabile dal sito ufficiale).

OnePlus 13R si è comportato piuttosto bene durante la nostra recensione, anche considerando il prezzo di 769 euro. La differenza rispetto al fratello maggiore (che invece ha un cartellino a quattro cifre) si vede soprattutto nella fotocamera più prestante, con stabilizzazione ottica per i video. Ma anche se ha display e processore peggiore sulla carta, nell’uso quotidiano si difende piuttosto bene: vedrete le differenze solo in un confronto diretto. In altre parole, arriva giusto a un passo da un buon top di gamma, per 260 euro in meno. Detto questo, la verità è che la fascia di prezzo sotto i top di gamma è sempre più nutrita: ci sono diversi rivali a questo smartphone che offrono alternative ottime. E il fatto che costi 70 euro di più rispetto al 12R dell’anno scorso non aiuta, sebbene siano tutti giustificati da diverse migliorie tecniche.

Siamo alle battute finali della recensione di OnePlus 13R, proposto a 769 Euro di listino nell’unico taglio di memoria previsto 12+256 GB. Per una prima fase di lancio sono previste promozioni interessanti come l‘omaggio dello smartwatch OnePlus Watch 2R, o delle cuffiette true wireless OnePlus Buds 3 Pro. Così come avviene per tutti i telefoni di fascia medio-alta da qualche parte bisogna risparmiare, ci sono brand che scelgono di farlo sul comparto hardware, sul display, sulla batteria, altri, come OnePlus, che storicamente si rivolge ai più “smanettoni”, che ha ha preferito curare maggiormente gli aspetti tecnici legati alle performance e alla multimedialità, rinunciando però ad un comparto fotografico all’altezza della situazione.

In conclusione il OnePlus 13R è un buon telefono e se calerà di prezzo attorno ai 500€ siamo certi che venderà tantissimo. Ad oggi, a 769€, rischia di essere completamente eclissato dal precedente OnePlus 12 che ha dalla sua la ricarica wireless, delle foto e video da top di gamma, un display migliore, microfoni migliori e tutto sommato lo stesso SoC. Sì, OnePlus 13R ha 500mAh in più di batteria, ha una gestione delle temperature migliore, ma ciò non giustifica l'acquisto di fronte allo stesso prezzo. Insomma OnePlus rischia di farsi la "guerra in casa", perlomeno fin quando non ci sarà un calo di prezzo o OnePlus 12 non uscirà di scena (ad oggi è ancora acquistabile dal sito ufficiale).

The 13R has a surprisingly premium build, and it just feels solid and comfortable when you hold it. Going almost edge to edge, the large flat display is stunning to look at as well, incredibly sharp with great color, I just found it a joy to use. The phone is lightning-fast, and OxygenOS is one of my favorite non-Pixel takes on Android. The OnePlus 13R could be a great pick for someone who wants a phone for gaming, watching movies and scrolling social media. The large screen, loud speakers and powerful processor are capable of handling all kinds of entertainment without requiring you to spend $300 more on the more flagship OnePlus 13. Combine that with its fast 55-watt wired charging and long battery life and you'll find that this phone can be a long-lasting daily driver. But the lack of wireless charging will be quite noticeable in the years to come. The Qi2 standard is technically in its infancy, but its compatibility with Apple's MagSafe charging accessories means that there is already a wealth of fun docks, pads and stations that won't work with the OnePlus 13R. Yet if wireless charging is not important to you but you want a long battery and a great media experience, then the OnePlus 13R's tradeoffs are probably worth it.

The OnePlus 13R doesn’t hide its flaws, making it easy to understand just where your money goes. Like its predecessor, display and battery prowess are among the phone’s best qualities, but it also happens to be one of the better Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered phones on the market right now – especially at its price point. While I favour the design, the user experience is superb. It’s a shame both the protective glass and fast charging got downgraded from the OnePlus 12R, but in all other areas, this phone punches up. If you want better water resistance and wireless charging, all of the alternatives mentioned in the pricing section will fit the bill, but there’s nothing that quite strikes the same balance as the OnePlus 13R, making it the perfect fit for those who still haven’t quite found what they’re looking for.

The OnePlus 13R might not have the latest mobile platform under its hood, but it’s still an exceptionally capable device that offers heaps of power, superb battery life and very fast charging. There’s a brilliant display too, an improved design and software experience, and you’ll get solid results from the main camera as well, making this phone a great all-rounder. I’d like the Alert Slider to do more, the OS update commitment needs to be longer, and not all the camera sensors are as strong as the main sensor, but they are minor qualms overall.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Unità grafica integrata nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite per smartphone con tre fette da 1,1 GHz ciascuna. Cache condivisa integrata da 12 MB per le tre fette. Secondo Qualcomm, è più veloce del 40% rispetto alla generazione precedente (Adreno 750).

Qualcomm Adreno 750:

Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm afferma che è il 25% più veloce dell'Adreno 7340 nello Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 e i primi benchmark mostrano che la GPU può battere l'Apple A17 Pro iGPU.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8:

SD 8 Elite: SoC (System on a Chip) di fascia alta per smartphone, presentato alla fine del 2024. Integra due core Oryon Gen 2 Prime veloci con una frequenza fino a 4,32 GHz e 6 core Oryon Gen 2 Performance più piccoli con una frequenza fino a 3,53 GHz.

SD 8 Gen 3: SoC di fascia alta per smartphone che è stato introdotto alla fine del 2022 con un nucleo principale veloce basato su un'architettura ARM Cortex-X3 con clock fino a 3,2 GHz. Altri due core ad alte prestazioni sono basati sull'A715 e supportano solo applicazioni a 64 bit. I due core A710 aggiuntivi supportano anche applicazioni a 32 bit, così come i core Cortex-A510 a risparmio energetico. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem WiFi 7, un DSP Hexagon (per l'accelerazione AI) e un ISP Spectra. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta la memoria veloce LPDDR5x fino a 4.200 MHz. il 5G è incluso nel chip con il modem Snapdragon X70.
