Motorola Razr 50 Ultra è disponibile in Italia nelle colorazioni Midnight Blue, Spring Green, Peach Fuzz e Pink Peacock al prezzo di 1.199 euro ma chi lo ordinerà entro il 31 luglio potrà attivare online la promo "Display Protetto" per avere 1 anno di riparazioni gratuite in caso di rottura accidentale sia dello schermo interno che di quello esterno oltre a poter usufruire del "Trade In" e a poter acquistare ad un prezzo speciale anche le cuffie true wireless Moto Buds+. Il miglior pieghevole oggi in commercio, secondo me l'usabilità beneficia tantissimo dei 4 pollici esterni e lo promuovo per questo, anche se le fotocamere non convincono al 100%.

Il prezzo per possedere questo piccolo gioiello è onesto e adeguato a quanto offerto, invariato rispetto a un predecessore che invece non riusciva, seppur ottimo, ad essere così rasente la perfezione. Crediamo molto in Motorola, in Lenovo e nel loro serio progetto: ci auguriamo che le promesse di costanti e repentini aggiornamenti, primo tra tutti quello imminente pieno di AI, vengano mantenute, come crediamo: se così fosse Motorola risulterebbe serio candidato a tornare ai fasti del passato. Abbiamo spesso citato in questa lunga recensione Razr 40 Ultra, a oggi unico serio concorrente di Razr 50 Ultra per via del suo prezzo aggressivo, aspettando di provare Razr 50 nella versione base, che promette altrettanta qualità, ma ovvia meno completezza.

Il Motorola razr 50 Ultra segue le orme di quello che era già un modello abbastanza valido, ossia il razr 40 Ultra, proponendo però delle novità che lo rendono ancora più valido di prima. Il mercato globale dei dispositivi pieghevoli (sia a conchiglia che di grandi dimensioni) non è ancora molto affollato di alternative, anche se ci sono ancora alcuni nomi da menzionare. Il contendente più ovvio proviene da Samsung: l'attuale Galaxy Z Flip5 dovrebbe venire sostituito la prossima settimana dal suo successore Z Flip6 e dunque il confronto con l’attuale sembra forse un po’ fuori luogo. Di fatto al momento questo razr 50 Ultra sembra vincere sul Samsung almeno per quanto concerne il display esterno, decisamente più ampio, scenico e più fruibile nel quotidiano.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra è uno smartphone che, allo stesso prezzo della precedente generazione, migliora pressoché ogni aspetto. Ciò non è scontato poiché le varie migliorie possono non sembrare così lampanti prese una ad una ma nell'insieme creano il flip phone in commercio, quello più completo ed appagante da utilizzare. Le fotocamere restano ad oggi l'unico aspetto dove la differenza con un top di gamma "classico" è avvertibile, ma è anche vero che le fotocamere di un flip hanno una versatilità unica grazie al display esterno e alla modalità stand che sbloccano metodi di utilizzo unici. Insomma 1199€ per la versione 12/512GB sono in linea generale tanti, come per qualunque smartphone, ma parliamo comunque di listini e di prezzi in linea con la concorrenza.

Esteticamente, stiamo parlando di un prodotto estremamente bello, ma dobbiamo riconoscere che il suo pregio principale è sicuramente il suo software, in particolare per la qualità dell’interfaccia utente. come anticipato, abbiamo qualche perplessità in più sulla efficienza del processore e la batteria un po’ risicata imporrà sicuramente di avere sempre un caricatore a portata di mano, per ogni evenienza.

I received the Razr Plus 2024 and the Razr 2024 together, and I used the Razr Plus as my only smartphone for work purposes. Most notable, perhaps, is the introduction of a proper IPX8-rating, which brings the Razr's water resistance up to the Galaxy Z Flip level. The Moto is without competition in its market segment when it comes to charging speed, its displays are likely the best in its class, and its speakers are better than most (foldables or otherwise). The software implementation on the cover screen is one 2x button in the camera UI short of perfection, and Hello UI is easy to like in its entirety as well. Motorola is taking a bit of gamble with the camera setup - or is it a calculated strategy?

This seemed very cool, and it was an Android offering to compete against Apple Intelligence. However, like Apple Intelligence, it isn’t available yet, but I’m eagerly waiting for Motorola to release this feature. The Motorola Razr+ is available for pre-order on July 10th and comes out at select carriers and retailers on July 24th for $1,299.99. I need to spend some time with the Razr+ before deciding whether that price is worth it. However, my first experiences with the device have been incredibly positive, and I’ll share more about my thoughts in the coming weeks.

The cover screen is even larger and more usable, water resistance is now class-leading, and the new camera hardware seems capable enough at first glance. Battery life is an unknown, and I’ll need to test those cameras in low light to see how well they compare to the current crop of clamshells. The approaching Galaxy Z Flip 6 looms large, too – but unless Samsung has changed its approach to running apps on the outer screen, I have a feeling this will be the more usable phone of the two.

If you're interested in the foldable form factor, the lower priced 2024 Motorola Razr is a safe bet. At $700, it has a big external screen and is significantly more affordable than the $1,000 Razr+ and even more so compared to the $1,100 Galaxy Z Flip 6, though the Razr+ is currently discounted to $899 on Amazon. It's also competitive with non-folding phones in its price range.

Motorola is setting a new benchmark for all foldable phones this year with the Razr (2024). For a foldable phone priced at $699, it receives a much more satisfying upgrade in my opinion than the pricier Razr Plus 2024 — complete with a new outer screen that expands its functionality, an attractive design with better water resistance, and an improved camera performance. Sure, it’s missing out on the Moto AI features that will eventually make their way to the Razr Plus 2024, but the savings it has over it and other foldable phones makes it attractive. Best of all, I cannot stress enough about how it sets a benchmark because of its price. You won’t find any other foldable phone that offers better value than this. I know that software support could be better, but its cheaper price point paired with its laundry list of excellent features make it a solid option.

Twenty years ago (with the help of some “hot” star power) Motorola reshaped humdrum mobile phones into design icons with the first RAZR. It’s spent the past five of those years reformulating that reinvention into the Razr 2024: a playful pocketable, clad in all the colors of the rainbow the bigger manufacturers keep (frustratingly) shying further away from. It's no exaggeration to call the new Razr two phones in one: a high-end Android flagship and a tiny minimalist phone, blended into a single foldable that reminds us that, oh right: technology can be (should be) fun!

With all that out of the way, it certainly sounds like the Motorola Razr (2024) is the best thing since sliced bread, at least if you can live without a few early AI features. Either way, the fact is that both the Motorola Razr Plus and the regular ol’ Razr are excellent this year, and both look capable of beating out Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6, which has barely changed since the Flip 5. As a Razr Plus fanboy, I expected to love Motorola’s top flip phone, but I’m finding the vanilla Razr is far easier to recommend, and I’d dare to call it the best value we’ve seen from a foldable phone available in the US.

In its favor, it has outstanding battery life, a playful and flexible design, excellent inner and outer screens, and capable software from Motorola. We wish the performance were quicker and the cameras were sharper, but for $700, the Razr is a good entry point to folding phones. Upgrading to the Razr+ for $300 more gets you much faster performance, a larger external screen, and a more useful zoom camera. At that price, it's also worth considering the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, especially if you use other Samsung devices.

Frankly, this is a pretty solid midrange phone built into a flip phone chassis, and that's really all it needs to be. It's a novelty, sure, but whether you're interested in the smaller folded form factor or you find this sort of device fashionable, it's pretty great to see a clamshell phone as good as this one available for just $700 — and that's before Motorola's inevitable sales. While I think most Android Police readers would be better served by the $1,000 Razr+, if you're interested in picking up a foldable without breaking the bank, this new Razr might be the way to go.

Motorola is setting a new benchmark for all foldable phones this year with the Razr (2024). For a foldable phone priced at under $700, it receives a much more satisfying upgrade in my opinion complete with a new outer screen and stylish design. In terms of utility, it matches its sibling in nearly every aspect — with the exception of how it’s not getting the same set of Moto AI features. For the $300 in savings, I think that’s an understandable compromise.

Motorola Razr (2024): tomorrow's bargain foldable?

It looks like the Motorola Razr (2024) will be a pretty cool upgrade to last year's Razr. Just adding that 3.6-inch screen but keeping the price at $700 already sounds like a gamechanger. That said, if you do own a Razr (2023) — you're fine. However, people that are new to the foldable space and don't feel like spending $1k on the new concept may find this device has enough to hook them in and keep them as Moto fans. Right now, we hope the camera gets some love since the Razr (2023) was lacking in that area.

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
