What Lenovo has done with the ThinkPad X1 Yoga, is create a durable laptop with a lot of features and craftsmanship. However, the laptop was designed with the Alder Lake U-series in mind, as the cooling doesn’t seem to be capable to handle the more power-hungry P-series. If you want the X1 Yoga for your next device, we advise going with a 15W CPU, which should improve comfort and even battery life.

On the other hand, you can enjoy a good performance in short bursts, a fantastic keyboard, and a very solid structure. Unfortunately, the OLED panel is not battery life’s biggest friend, as we got less than 8 hours of Web browsing, and almost 5 hours of video playback. That would be a problem if you are a traveler, or you rely on your battery more often than not. In this case, we would suggest opting for a different display.

EN→ITThat might not be everyone’s personal calculus. If you don’t need a device unplugged for more than five to six hours at a time, this is a more attractive computer for you than it is for me. Still, Lenovo is charging a high price for this device, and there are companies out there making processors that will last you twice as long to a charge. I want a device that’s well over $2,000 to last me a workday, and we shouldn’t be asked to settle for less. A device with the ThinkPad’s beauty, power, price, and legendary branding deserves better.

EN→ITI like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7. A lot. I’ve personally purchased ThinkPads for most of my life, and the X1 Yoga Gen 7 underscores the reasons for my preference. It has a handsome, durable exterior, a great keyboard, offers the unique TrackPoint impact, and delivers on connectivity and battery life. It’s great for working long hours yet portable enough for travel. The X1 Yoga is also more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio which, though now a generation behind on processor performance, provides a more compelling 2-in-1 experience. Lenovo’s premium ThinkPads target very specific customers with a willingness to pay for exactly what they want. If that’s you (or your boss is willing to foot the bill), awesome. But most people would be better off buying the Yoga 9i and pocketing the savings.

It's a temptingly compact yet capable corporate 2-in-1 laptop that rates half a star below its civilian sibling, the Yoga 9i, simply because of its price premium. Yes, it has a nicer keyboard and MIL-STD 810H sturdiness, but our test unit isn't even a vPro configuration and lacks the high-res OLED display. Traveling execs will be delighted with it, but it doesn't come cheap.

It suffers from some thermal issues that hold back its high-end performance, but it has superior battery life, strong connectivity, and a nice low-power Full HD+ IPS display for users who don’t need OLED or higher resolutions. It’s also quite expensive, which will likely hold it back against some solid competition.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G4 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 96 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.

Una CPU di fascia alta della famiglia Alder Lake-P con 4 core di prestazioni e 8 core efficienti insieme alla iGPU Iris Xe 96 EU. I core della CPU funzionano da 1,6 GHz a 4,8 GHz. Questo i7 è progettato per essere usato in computer portatili ultraleggeri. I suoi core performanti presentano la tecnologia Hyper-Threading che raddoppia i thread per un totale di 16 thread. Il Core i7-1270P ha un TDP di 28 W e supporta le caratteristiche vPro di livello "Enterprise".
i7-1260P:
Una CPU di fascia media superiore della famiglia Alder Lake con 4 core di prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. Questo SoC da 28 W è progettato per essere usato in computer portatili ultraleggeri. I core performanti del Core i7-1260P sono abilitati Hyper-Threading per un totale di 16 thread. Questa CPU di 12a generazione funziona da 1,5 GHz a 4,7 GHz e supporta le caratteristiche vPro di livello "Essentials". Ultimo ma non meno importante, il Core i7-1260P ha una GPU Iris Xe 96 EU integrata, non diversamente da alcune parti Tiger Lake-UP3 di 11a generazione.
