As with most recent SmartPhones it is all about the cameras. Here one of its four cameras is an amazing 108MP. However with 5G those who download a lot to their phone are also able to do this with minimal delay. So what has this latest offering got to make you choose it apart from of course the extremely powerful camera that it has?

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G doesn't differ hugely from the slightly cheaper Note 11 Pro 5G in the overall performance or the experience. It does have really fast charging, though, which might swing it for you. Otherwise, there's little to pick between the two - it's just a slightly better performer.

Retailing from RM1,499, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is the most expensive mid-range Redmi Note phone to date and despite that, it is still the most affordable and feature packed Mediatek Dimensity 920 powered smartphone in the market. However, with the company’s older yet faster Xiaomi 11T flagship now repriced at RM1,499, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G becomes a less compelling choice as the Xiaomi 11T is equipped with a faster processor and better camera system, which makes it an almost no-brainer to consider if you don’t mind it being last year’s smartphone, you should probably wait for a price drop if you are keen on getting the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, but until then, there would probably be a new Redmi Note smartphone. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G brings the series to a whole new level and is packed with premium flagship features, but its asking price of RM1,499 is a little too high which you could have settled for an older yet faster flagship phone for the same price.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus won’t leave you as breathless as saying its name will, but it’s a fine phone for the price. It’s very quick to charge, and has a screen, processor and battery life that get you your money’s worth. We were disappointed by the camera quality though, and the phone won’t win any beauty contests either.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G is an undeniably improved phone over the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Those improvements are quite subtle, but they combine to form a better-rounded device. Improved performance, a more complete camera offering (at least for video capturers), and extremely rapid charging are all welcome. Generally speaking, they’re worth the £50 premium, especially since the phone still comes in well under £400. Alongside these embellishments, there’s much the same classy design and that crisp and fluid AMOLED display, both of which are a cut above much of the competition. There’s also that 108-megapixel main camera that’s solid rather than spectacular, despite that sky-high pixel count. The similarly priced, pitched, and performative Realme 9 Pro Plus is the better package, with a slightly lower price and a far superior main camera. But if you want a bigger, more fluid display and more rapid charging, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G might represent a better buy for you.

Xiaomi has done it again. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is another great and very well-rounded affordable phone under the company’s belt. It covers most of the bases for what makes a phone great: display, audio, battery, camera, etc. Even the software has become easier to recommend. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine, of course, such as the bad video stabilization with the main camera and the tendency to overexpose at times. The old software also does this Redmi Plus model no favors. On top of that, you only get two major Android updates. But if you can overlook these few negatives, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is a great budget-friendly phone around the $400 mark that will likely leave you happy with your purchase choice.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is a capable device without a question. The primary camera, display, battery life, and everyday performance are all great. The phone also has 5G connectivity, so it’s still a viable option if you want a handset that is future proof. Even though the other lenses aren’t as wonderful as the main 108Mp camera lens, it will suffice most photographers well. Not only that, but it can charge from 0 to 50 per cent in approximately 15-20 minutes, which is something that will be great for those who are always on the go. But no phone is perfect and there are a few shortcomings with the phone as well. It misses on the latest Android 12 out of the box and lacks the 4K video recording option. Having stated that, despite its shortcomings, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G is a great phone. However, if your existing phone is from last year, you may want to hold out for the time being.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is a multi-talented mid-range phone that does many things better than it has any right to at its price. Aside from its clean design, its 6.67-inch AMOLED display and strong performance are other highlights. Its main 108Mp camera lens will serve most photographers well, even if the other lenses aren’t as impressive. Not only that, but its ability to charge from 0% to 100% in around 15-20 minutes is something most other phones can only dream about.

And lastly, the price. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G starts at a whopping RM1,499. I believe this is the highest starting price for any Redmi smartphone ever. And I realize a trend now that this generation of Redmi smartphones either retained the same price as the last generation but with downgraded specs, or outright bumped up the price. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G falls in the latter category and that is because if we think about it, the closest competitor was last year’s fantastic Redmi Note 10 Pro or the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. I mean, there’s a few hundred bucks price gap there. Let’s compare the launch price: Redmi Note 10 Pro 8GB RAM + 128GB storage @ RM1,199 Oh – I should also mention that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G uses a hybrid card slot instead of dedicated triple card slots. I think this information is important to some of you.

The phone came to offer the 5G networks, but with many concessions from the regular version in our markets.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is what this year's current Redmi phone should have looked like from the start. Of course, this year Xiaomi has outdone itself by making numerous different Redmi 11 phones and naming them differently on different markets, making it incredibly confusing to keep track of them. With that rant over, we want to praise the Note 11 Pro+ 5G for being a worthy update over the Redmi Note 10 Pro. It improves almost every aspect of the phone, and that is how a sequel should be. Unfortunately, because of the current crisis across many sectors, the prices have gone up, and the Note 11 Pro+ is not as affordable as the previous model. Xiaomi is surely not to blame for this, and the Note 11 Pro+ is well worth recommending despite a couple of minor setbacks.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ isn’t as value-for-money a phone as the phone it's replacing, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. It checks some boxes but overall I expected it to be a refinement over one of the best-selling mid-range phones. Instead, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is an iterative update at best and doesn’t justify its asking price. The phone looks good and has a flat-edge design which is different from all the other Redmi Note phones. The display remains an essential part but it can’t offer HDR playback which is something you cannot skip when spending upwards of 20K. The performance of the Note 11 Pro+ is good but nothing to write home about. The cameras will give you Instagram-worthy pictures if you put in some effort and patience but there’s no way for you to record a 1080p video at 60FPS. The battery life of this phone is great and is most certainly a welcome upgrade, but otherwise, the Note 11 Pro+ remains a weak upgrade over a great mid-range smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is a very good 5G ready device. We’ve reviewed a few other phones with “pluses” on their names, yet so far Xiaomi got the assignment right—especially if they price this convincingly well. Most of its features can also be found on its lower variant, the Note 11 Pro 5G, but if you want that super-fast charging, JBL-backed speakers, improved performance, and subjectively slightly better cameras, for something that starts under PHP 20K, then this one might be the phone for you. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G comes in three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB will be available in the Philippines for PHP 19,999 and PHP 21,999, respectively. The early bird promo for the Redmi Note 11+ Pro 5G is from April 6 to 8, exclusively on Shopee and Lazada. During the period, you can get the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G 8GB + 128GB for PHP 18,999 during the flash sales, while the 8GB + 256GB variant will come with a free Mi Watch Lite worth PHP 2,499. The Redmi Note series has been one of Xiaomi's best-selling offerings, but the company has now pushed it into a higher price segment and so we can't just look at the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G as a replacement for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and the many popular iterations that have come before it. We do still have several models priced below this level – there's the 4G-only Redmi Note 11 Pro, the Redmi Note 11S (Review), the Redmi Note 11T 5G (Review), and even the simply named Redmi Note 11, most of which overlap with each other. Older models continue to be available as well. What the new Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G has in its favour are its display and speakers, battery life, charging speed, software features, and everyday performance. You can find most of these things in less expensive phones though, and they don't justify its new high price. Even the base variant which costs Rs. 20,999 will face stiff competition from its own predecessor, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, which has the same primary rear camera, a more useful macro camera, and many similar features.

The Redmi Note 11 series, with its four models, is undoubtedly Xiaomi's attempt to stand up to the iPhone 13 quartet with more affordable prices. Unlike those iPhones, however, the differences between the four models are so slim that it creates confusion rather than choice. The global version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G does stand out from the others but, unfortunately, not entirely in good ways. The phone's performance as a mid-range phone is unquestionable and is, in fact, quite decent. The camera bump on its back, however, is almost begging to have a case slapped on it the moment it comes outside of the box. The phone's camera quality is so-so and only notable for its ability to shoot 4K/30fps videos, assuming you're into that kind of thing. The biggest clincher, however, is its starting price of $299, which spans up to $330 for the highest configuration. Such inexpensive prices almost make all those small flaws and quirks bearable. You can always use the money you saved to buy a case that will at least make the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G look more presentable.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G at Rs 24,999 (8GB+256GB) offers decent gaming performance, good display and battery life. All these features make Redmi Note 11 Pro+ a preferred choice for someone looking for an affordable 5G smartphone with good features. The device’s camera offers satisfactory results overall apart from the low-light camera output that is above average. To wrap it up, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset is a good buy when it comes to a workhorse in this price segment.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is no doubt a capable device. The main camera, the display, battery life and day-to-day performance are all strong points. The phone also includes 5G connectivity, which means if you want a future proof device, this remains an option on the list. The challenge though is the price increase, which Redmi might find hard to justify since the phone starts at Rs 20,999. This could also explain why it has launched a Redmi loyalty program where it is offering users Rs 2,000 extra on exchange value for their older Redmi Note phone. The program is interestingly only applicable to the Pro+ variant, and not the regular Pro. So, if you are trading in an older Redmi Note in good working condition, then it does become an excellent deal to consider. However, the competition is a lot tougher now, and the Redmi Note 11 portfolio itself is confusing. If you are not too keen on spending extra and don’t need 5G, the Redmi Note 11 Pro or even the 11S might make more sense for some users.

The short answer is it depends. My thinking is that both 5G versions are quite capable devices and Xiaomi is targeting different geographies via the two different 5G chipsets. Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G has great hardware design, fairly robust performance with 5G connectivity, and 120W HyperCharge support. Besides these features, you also get good camera performance, great sounding speakers, a headphone jack, and a vibrant 120Hz AMOLED display. The list continues with a hybrid dual-SIM slot, IP53 splash rating, NFC, and all accessories in the box to get you started as soon as you open the retail box. The only thing is that with all these great features the price is also starting to creep up to where depending on the geography and promotions a Samsung A53 or even the Google Pixel 5a 5G might be a slightly better overall deal.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ retails for Rs 20,999 and for the price, gets a few things right. For one, the smartphone performs well and offers a versatile array of cameras that can click serviceable images. What’s more, the handset also employs a stunning AMOLED panel which, when paired with the device’s 5,000mAh cell, nets users a generous screen on time too. Unfortunately, the device does little to set itself apart and works around the same formula that propelled its predecessor to immeasurable stardom. In fact, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max outperforms the Note 11 Pro+ in the camera department and the phone can even relay HDR media from OTT services like Netflix. That’s not to say that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is a bad phone. Only, users across the globe have started to bank on Redmi’s Note lineup. Unfortunately, the brand’s latest contender – while good – falls a bit short of expectations.

The Note 11 Pro+ 5G feels like a phone that Redmi was forced to launch, because it had to come up with an annual upgrade rather than a segment-defining, pathbreaking device. But, maybe I am being too harsh with Xiaomi here. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is still a very capable phone. Moreover, the competition is still trying to catch up. For example, the Realme 9 SE 5G has a lower resolution 48-megapixel main camera and a slower 30W charging support. Even the peak brightness is restricted to just 600 nits. In conclusion, I would say if you are using a two- to three-year-old Android phone and desperately need an upgrade then, you can consider the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. But, if you only bought a phone 12 months ago, especially from the Note 10 series, sit tight because there will be better upgrades in future.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G starts at Rs 20,999 for its 6 GB/ 128 GB variant, with the 8 GB/ 128 GB option available at Rs 22,999 and a 8 GB / 256 GB variant going for Rs 24,999. That might seem high by Redmi Note standards, but in the best Redmi Note tradition, the Note 11 Pro+ does the basics way better than any other device in its zone. So much so that at its base price, there is no phone that matches the Redmi Note 11 Pro+’s combination of display, camera, processor, sound, battery life, and fast charging. It does face some challenges, especially from the Realme 9 5G Speed Edition and the Realme 9 Pro 5G, both of which start at lower prices and come with compelling designs and good hardware. There’s also the Vivo T1, which offers a relatively powerful processor, and Android 12 at a much lower starting price. But all these devices end up giving ground to the Note on a number of fronts- all of them have LCD displays, inferior main cameras, single speakers, and lower battery charging speeds.

It does seem that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is more future-proof than its near-identical sibling, but in terms of value for money, some people might still prefer to spend less and then upgrade a few years down the line. Xiaomi has tied up with HDFC to offer a discount of Rs. 1,000 to cardholders, and a new Redmi Loyalty Programme allows those with an older Redmi model to claim an exchange bonus. However, Xiaomi also says that due to current global geopolitical and supply chain issues, the prices announced are introductory, and are subject to change. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is a great smartphone, this should not be doubted. It has an excellent 120Hz AMOLED screen, powerful speakers, outstanding battery life and charging speed, as well as adequate performance and camera experience. Its design is quite attractive, too. The new Note is a proper member of the Redmi Note series, too, so it's not a failure or a disappointment. It launches with a price which is probably relevant to the market realities in 2022. But unfortunately, there are many cheaper and more powerful smartphones released before the Note 11 Pro 5G, which are still very much relevant and available. Many of them are even Xiaomi-made. And that's what stands in the way of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G to be a best-seller. That, and the lackluster upgrades, the worsened photo quality and the missing 4K video capturing. Obviously, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is not ideal. While it aces some aspects, it messes up others. And its price tag is not in its favor, not until it gets a sensible price tag later on. Until this happens, we cannot recommend the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G even if it is a good phone.

In terms of the mid-range flagship phone, the Redmi Note series has already made its name. The upcoming Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus also look promising as they feature robust performance, long battery life, and decent camera quality. So there’s nothing to do with how you’re getting the best of the best features out of any midrange phone. But if you’re looking for a great overall experience, then yes, there’s no denying that you can choose what you want, because both will be of equal value. Both phones come with the same specs, the only difference is the battery section, so you can definitely go for the Redmi Note 11 Pro smartphone. If you are looking for an alternative option you can definitely check the OnePlus 9RT with a more robust chipset.

The upgrade is the screen, fast charging, and taking pictures, which are the most frequently used functions in daily life, but the quality is retained. , Infrared, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and so on, you can think of Redmi’s “Little King Kong quality” in series. There is no doubt that the Redmi Note11 series will become the most competitive product in the “Double Eleven”, and it is also likely to drive a new round of “involution” of mid-range phones, but for us consumers, there are Who doesn’t want this “involution” to be more violent?

ARM Mali-G68 MP4:
