Vivo X Fold è al momento l’unico dispositivo da prendere in considerazione se le priorità sono quelle di possedere un moderno foldable che possa essere anche un camera phone. il prezzo richiesto è in Europa di circa 1500 Euro per la versione 12/256 Gb che reputiamo ampiamente giustificato dagli altissimi contenuti tecnologici presenti. Primo tra tutti il display interno, LTPO e con la piega impercettibile, che viene “azionato” da una cerniera che risulta essere un ingegnoso e sofisticato sistema, certificato dal prestigioso TUV Rheinland come affidabile. Il processore utilizzato è il top di casa Qualcomm, con a supporto un ottimo quantitativo di velocissime memorie Ram e Rom. Inoltre il comparto cam è il medesimo utilizzato sul camera phone X80 Pro, curato in tutte le specifiche grazie alla collaborazione con Zeiss. Pecca invece in peso e dimensioni e in un software che seppur buono non presenta funzionalità specifiche che possano sfruttare il display interno a dovere. È un vero e proprio concentrato di potenza e tecnologia capace di essere elegante, affidabile, potente e con un comparto cam degno di essere definito da riferimento, il migliore in assoluto presente in qualsiasi foldable attualmente in commercio.

It's by far one of the best foldables we've used as it stands out with exceptional displays (even the internal screen has a smaller-than-usual crease), great battery life, nice hinge design and not one but two ultrasonic fingerprint readers that work flawlessly. We find that last bit a huge advantage over the current side-mounted readers in today's foldables. The overall camera experience isn't bad either. It's not ideal, but it's mostly on par with what the competition offers. We would have liked a better selfie and further zoom reach (3x at least), but otherwise, the quality is solid during the day and at night. We also wished for a better stereo speaker setup, although we understand that not everyone would mind the speakers as they are.

You'd think Samsung has remained unchallenged in the large foldable space for another year and that's why it's mostly coasting with the Z Fold6, and that's probably true on a global scale. But the sort-of international X Fold3 Pro will be giving the Galaxy a run for its money in the coming months, albeit still regionally - let's hope it's enough of an indication of things to come from vivo, and a wake up call for Samsung. Indeed, the X Fold3 Pro does a lot of things better than the Galaxy, while not necessarily trailing in any areas - unless you're specifically after stylus operation. Ah, if you do a lot of traveling, the lack of eSIM support will be a hindrance too, but that's about it.

As a camera fanatic, I’m usually disappointed with the photographic abilities, and having a nice big foldable display isn’t a good enough substitute. However, with the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, there’s barely any compromise, and it might just be my new daily driver. This phone has impressed me on every front. The performance is excellent, the software works well, the displays look brilliant, the cameras are probably the best on any folding phone to date and it’s slim and light enough to almost feel like a non-folding flagship. That's a tough question – depending on which market you are in, it can be quite hard to get your hands on a Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. We'd say it's not worth jumping through multiple hoops and risking carrier incopatibilities — not because the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is bad, but because there are options out there that work just fine and perform quite well themselves. That said, we are quite impressed with the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro — quality screens, quality build, dual ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, excellent performance and battery life. All that for quite the competitive price — considering that Samsung upped the price tag of the Z Fold by $100 this year, we'd say the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is quite well positioned. Again... pretty hard to find it at a reputable retailer, though.
