Samsung 5260 Hexa

Il Samsung Exynos 5260 o Exynos 5 Hexa è un SoC ARM based di fascia media per smartphones e tablets (prevalentemente Android based). Integra due veloci cores Cortex-A15 e quattro cores Cortex-A7 a risparmio energetico (ARM big.LITTLE). Tutti i sei cores possono (per un breve periodo) lavorare insieme per spingere le prestazioni (GTS - Global Task Scheduling).

Inoltre, il chip contiene una scheda grafica ARM Mali-T624, un controller di memoria 32-Bit dual channel 800 MHz LPDDR3 (12.8 GB/s), ed un motore video integrato per la codifica e decodifica H.264, MPEG4, e VP8 (fino a 1080p 60 fps). Grazie all'eDP il SoC è in grado di gestire displays PSR (panel self refresh) fino a 2560x1600 pixels.
