Il Toshiba Satellite C50D-B-125 è un semplice portatile da ufficio da 15.6". Le prestazioni sono sufficienti per applicazioni di lavoro ed internet. Il dispositivo difficilmente si scalda, ma è troppo rumoroso in idle. Toshiba dovrebbe correre subito ai ripari con un update del BIOS. Il notebook ha una buona tasiera ed offre una buona autonomia. Il display ha un contrasto elevato ma non è luminoso quanto desideravamo. Per l'utilizzo indoor, tuttavia, è sufficiente. Sfortunatamente, diversamente dal predecessore, il Satellite non monta una cover per la manutenzione. Pertanto l'hard drive non si sostituisce facilmente. Con 410 Euro (~$485), Toshiba chiede un po' troppo per il Satellite. Ci sono molti altri notebooks con performance superiori e prezzi inferiori. Ad esempio, l'HP 355 G2 (A8-6410, Radeon R5 M240, Windows 7 Pro + Windows 8.1 Pro) che abbiamo recentemente recensito costa 370 Euro (~$435).
