Il prezzo per tutto ciò? Circa 2000€ nei paesi dove verrà commercializzato. Tantissimi soldi che però possono essere giustificati da quella nicchia di utenti che vuole sempre l'ultimo gioiello tecnologico fra le mani. Io personalmente non spenderei mai 2000€ per uno smartphone simile, credo che già 1500€ siano tanti e 1000€ corretti, ma è anche vero che ognuno di noi dà un valore differente ai soldi in base a disponibilità e passioni. In ogni caso, da amante e utilizzatore di smartphone Flip (ora sono con un Mix Flip) amerei vedere tutta questa tecnologia a bordo di un futuro OPPO Find N5 Flip, con una cerniera e piega di questo livello! E voi? Siete entusiasti di queste tipologie di prodotti?

Overall, I think the Find N5 is probably the best-designed foldable I’ve used. It barely has a crease, its flat sides are really comfortable to hold, and I’m not scared of breaking it like I am with other foldables. It feels solid despite being the thinnest foldable you can get. Battery life, processing power, and its telephoto camera are all positives, too. At the same time, the O Plus Connect functionality will likely appeal to a select few who dream of Android/Mac seamlessness. Given its positives, I feel like I can look past a few of those annoying quirks that I mentioned. However, it’s held back by the limited camera performance, and one ridiculous decision that leaves it dead in the water for most people: OPPO has made it incredibly difficult for users to purchase this device.

Okay, so should you buy the OPPO Find N5? Well, it’s thin and has great battery life. The cameras are great if you don’t use the ultrawide angle, and the software remains familiar to those who are familiar with the Find N3 Fold. If you like the phone – then go for it. No one can stop you. If you want my opinion on it, then I’m going to lay a hot take here. While the OPPO Find N5 is indeed thin, I think that its thinness comes with many sacrifices. Remember – we cannot cheat physics. With a phone this thin, we can only fit so many components in it. It’s clear that the gaming performance is heavily affected, using a nerfed Snapdragon 8 Elite can’t help much either. The camera bump is also thinner but that doesn’t actually affect the quality much – except for the ultrawide angle camera. But my conclusion remains the same.

Oppo even found space for a versatile camera system. The Find N5 is well-equipped through and through. The technological density on display here is really impressive. Oppo even found the space to fit in proper stereo speakers and even an IR blaster. Even Oppo's signature alert slider is present. Having said all this, is the Find N5 a perfect device?

Can book-style foldables get any slimmer than this? I’m not sure they need to. The Oppo Find N5 is practically as svelte as a non-folding flagship, with only the smallest of internal compromises. Real-world performance is rapid, battery life is really rather great, and image quality is suitably top-tier on two of the three rear cameras. It also adds features missing from the last-gen model like wireless charging, and puts rival foldables in the shade with its water resistance. Software that lets you maximise multitasking on the inner screen is then the icing on the cake. Cutting back the ultrawide to minimise the camera bump and losing a CPU core to keep temperatures in check are minor slights overall.
