The Oppo Find N3 is the best foldable phone you can get right now, especially if you’re in a market where the OnePlus Open (quite literally the same phone as the N3 but with slightly different software) isn’t available. There’s very little holding the Oppo Find N3 back. The hardware is great, the software features make great use of the hardware, and the camera performance is remarkable for a foldable phone. I’ve used the phone longer than I do with most review units, and in my six months of usage, I’ve found very little to complain about. The Oppo Find N3 is a nearly complete package, and it only misses out on a few things. Wireless charging is the biggest negative here. ColorOS also needs some work, but it’s headed in the right direction.

Honestly I am extremely impressed with the OPPO Find N3 and as a foldable I do like the bigger inside screen and the cameras and software and the overall experience in my book is just off the scale impressive. Granted there was one or two little things I would like to be changed such as the overlapping apps along with possibly redesigning the massively huge camera bump at the back but otherwise for me, the OPPO Find N3 screen premium, high end performance and luxury and it is a worth competitor and possibly the winner of best foldable so far for 2024 in my books. My only question still remains – longevity of the device and foldable screen, especially with the price but also with the majority of consumers holding onto their phones for longer periods than previous generations.

At RM7,999, the Find N3 is a big boy’s toy, a device for someone with oodles of disposable income and to that end, it’s a luxury item that, while not necessarily practical at times, individuals would buy, all for that “look at me, look at me”, while it lasts. And believe me, unfolding this device in public during the review process has actually gotten me some unexpected attention, with folks falling to the allure of that big Hasselblad module and coming up to me, asking about it. And yes, it may not be as feature-friendly as the Galaxy Z Fold5, a foldable which has basically become the benchmark that every other foldable entering the market needs to meet or beat. Did I have fun using the Find N3 as my daily driver, along with features like its Boundless View mode and the fact I can pretty much use Google Wallet with it? Absolutely. Would I recommend it wholeheartedly as a common option to the masses?

The Oppo Find N3 has an unmatched class as it brings most of the flagship features that you are looking for in a foldable phone. Unfortunately, the storage variant is capped at 512GB, while the Chinese variant has 1TB storage. Foldable smartphones aren’t everyone’s favorite choice, though this opinion can differ from person to person. Now, because there are devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and OnePlus Open, the Oppo Find N3 does feel underwhelming. Although, there’s no denying that this phone receives ample hardware support with top-class software configuration. But still, make the final decision according to your preference.

The Find N3 is a worthy entrant into the large foldable space, together with the OnePlus Open that shares most of its DNA. It competes well with the benchmark in the class, the Galaxy Z Fold5, by delivering as good or better results in key areas, while not really falling short in any major way. For example, the Find N3's rear cameras are more versatile on both the ultrawide and telephoto end. The displays on the Oppo foldable are nicer in almost every way, and on top of what is mostly a tie battery life, the Find N3 adds quicker charging. The nice speakers help too. The Oppo also offers a compelling alternative to what's been one of Samsung's key selling points - the software bits to make the most out of the form factor. Other makers have been unable to nail those until now, but ColorOS appears to have done it just right. Where the Find N3 can't quite challenge the Galaxy is in water resistance and high refresh rate handling when it comes to gaming.

Honestly, the OPPO Find N3 is among the best foldable phones you can currently buy. It has everything, including top-notch specs like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a camera module with Hasselblad tech, and an elegant design. It would be better if it came with a stylus, as that would work wonders for your productivity. That means you'll spend more since you have to get one separately. We won't lie here. The OPPO Find N3 is not for everyone, as it's an expensive phone at RM7999. However, the Find N3 is suitable for those who want an elegant foldable phone to show off or as a more portable workstation when outside. But if you want a more affordable option, consider the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. It's cheaper with prices from RM6799 but has similar specs and is equally powerful.

So, for the price of RM7,999, is the OPPO Find N3 worth it? I’ll say yes and no. It kinda depends on what you want. I think the cameras on the OPPO Find N3 are definitely fantastic, alongside the alert slider and some of the software features. I am optimistic about this, but I am also cautious about other aspects like IP rating, the taskbar that’s oddly limiting, and the Fineasy… that needs to change. I just think that the price of RM7,999 is definitely high, and it’ll be interesting when we put things in perspective with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 which costs RM700 cheaper for the same storage configuration. Again, that comparison will come soon. So that’s all I have to share with you in this video. Is the OPPO Find N3 the perfect foldable device? Definitely not. There is no perfect foldable device, at least not right now.

Now perhaps you’re wondering how much the Oppo Find N3 costs. Well, it retails for SGD 2,399 or roughly PHP 99,240 for the 16GB+512GB variant. This makes it more or less the same price as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. Considering the Find N3 comes with a better camera and larger cover display, this should give it an advantage over the Z Fold 5. But unfortunately for readers in the Philippines, this won’t be available in our market. It’s disappointing to hear too since I’m very impressed with this phone. Instead, we’re getting the more popular OPPO Find N3 Flip. But what do you think of the Oppo Find N3? We certainly like it, especially given the major makeover it’s gotten. Chip grafico per smartphone e tablet integrato nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Qualcomm sostiene che è più veloce del 25% rispetto all'Adreno 730 dello Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 e i primi benchmark mostrano che la GPU è in grado di battere l'iGPU A16 di Apple (in precedenza la GPU più veloce per smartphone). 

Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

SoC di fascia alta per smartphone presentato alla fine del 2022 con un veloce core principale basato su architettura ARM Cortex-X3 che funziona fino a 3,2 GHz. Altri due core ad alte prestazioni sono basati sull'A715 e supportano solo applicazioni a 64 bit. Anche gli altri due core A710 supportano applicazioni a 32 bit, così come i core Cortex-A510 a risparmio energetico. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC incorpora un modem WiFi 7, un DSP Hexagon (per l'accelerazione AI) e un ISP Spectra.
