You’re getting a lot of CPU horsepower, a GPU that’s fast enough to run many games at 1440p, a good QHD+ screen, fast storage and plenty of RAM. It’s no match for the Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 or the Acer Predator Helios 18 in terms of graphics performance, but then it’s also substantially cheaper – we’re talking an extra £1000 or more left in the bank. Sure, it’s big, bulky and obnoxiously loud, but the Vector 17 gives you high all-round performance at a price you might just about afford. EN→ITThe MSI Vector 17 HX A13V is a potent gaming device. It’s offered only with high-end hardware. The huge cooling system does its job well. The CPU can maintain around 3.80 / 2.60 Ghz P and E-core clock in longer loads and the GPU performance is also great since the RTX 4080 can show 2360 MHz after half an hour of gaming (which is a respectable result). The upgradability is on point – even one of the M.2 slots is for Gen 5 SSDs. The port selection amazes with its there Type-Cs, two Type-As, and an SD Card Reader. The base 1200p display (AUO B170UAN01.2 (AUOA9A6)) is a great choice for gamers who like to play competitive online shooters. This 165 Hz PWM-free panel offers very fast pixel response times (for an IPS unit) of just 6 ms.

Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).

i9-14900HX: Processore ibrido mobile di fascia alta basato sull'architettura Raptor Lake con 24 core e 32 thread. Il clock è di un massimo di 5,8 GHz (core P).
i9-13980HX: CPU mobile della serie Raptor Lake che offre 24 core (8 core di prestazioni, 16 core di efficienza) con un core Boost fino a 5,8 GHz per i core P. Simile al Desktop i9-13900K, ma con velocità di clock e TDP ridotti.
Intel Arrow Lake:
Ultra 9 275HX: CPU mobile di fascia alta per notebook da gioco basata sull'architettura Arrow Lake. Offre 24 core composti da 8 core ad alte prestazioni con velocità di clock fino a 5,4 GHz e 16 core di efficienza minore con velocità di clock fino a 4,6 GHz. La CPU può accedere a 40 MB di cache L2 e 36 MB di cache L3 ed è specificata con un TDP di 55 watt. Il SoC integra una piccola NPU dedicata chiamata AI Boost con 13 TOPS (Int8) e supporta opzionalmente vPro Essentials.
