Anche il posizionamento è, a mio parere, molto buono, specialmente se consideriamo quello che sembra essere il trend dei prezzi delle soluzioni Lunar Lake attualmente disponibili. La versione nelle mie mani, ovvero quella con Core Ultra 7 258V, 32 GB di RAM, SSD da 1 Tb e Windows 11 Pro è disponibile ad un prezzo di 1599 euro, si passa poi a 1499 per la stessa configurazione con Windows 11 Home e si scende fino a 1299 per il modello con Core Ultra 7 256V, 16 GB di RAM e SSD da 512 GB che è comunque una configurazione interessante per la stra grande maggioranza degli utenti.

I arrive at the end of this review less excited by the Yoga Slim 7i than I should be. Why? Because this is a laptop that is within touching distance of greatness and the reasons it falls short are so easily fixed. It’s irksome to see Lenovo trip over such a low hurdle. Let’s get the good points out of the way first: the battery life is brilliant, the keyboard excellent, the display bright, smooth, colourful and colour-accurate. The laptop itself is solid, well-made and not unpleasant to look at. The speaker system is very good too. But, the webcam is mediocre, the power button is in a daft place and you don’t get Windows Studio Effects.

The keyboard is suitable for long hours of typing and the touchpad is accurate – nice! The Yoga Slim 7i faces some stiff competition among the limited number of 15-inch laptops. It’s just as well-built as its competition and it looks great. It’s very portable — though not quite as thin as the MacBook Air 15 — and light enough that you won’t mind carrying it around. It’s also surprisingly affordable, more so than the other two I’ve mentioned throughout this review. That makes it very attractive. It’s not the fastest laptop, but it gets very good battery life. If you’re looking for a larger laptop with a lot to offer, the Yoga Slim 7i should be on your list.

That makes the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition an excellent choice if you want a thin, portable Windows laptop that’s still versatile enough to handle productivity and entertainment with equal ease.

Intel Arc 140V: Un adattatore grafico integrato piuttosto veloce che, secondo quanto riferito, alcuni processori Intel Lunar Lake impiegano. Il 140V ha 8 core di architettura Xe² che funzionano fino a 2.050 MHz e 8 unità di ray tracing; è abilitato a DirectX 12 Ultimate e supporta anche tutti i codec video moderni. Se le recenti fughe di notizie sui punteggi dei benchmark sono indicative, le sue prestazioni di gioco saranno leggermente migliori di quelle di GeForce MX570.
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.

Core Ultra 7 256V: Un processore di fascia media superiore della famiglia Lunar Lake.
