Il modello da me provato ha un listino di 999 euro anche se in questo momento è già disponibile sullo store ufficiale con uno sconto di 50 euro. A tale prezzo forse non lo acquisterei, ma qualora dovesse scendere sotto la soglia 850 euro lo prenderei seriamente in considerazione, tenendo conto della presenza dei nuovi processori, dell'SSD molto veloce e di un ottimo display penso. Anche di fronte ad alternative della precedente generazione un pochino meno costose, infatti, tenderei a scegliere il nuovo per una questione di longevità.

That leaves me with my minor gripes with the Yoga C740. It's not comfortable to write on the screen with a pen, and that screen just isn't bright enough for outdoor use in direct sunlight. And of course, there's no Thunderbolt 3, something that you probably don't need, but should be getting at this price anyway.

The C740 is a good machine. You won’t do much better for less than $800. But before buying, I do recommend that you look into its competitors and see what you’re missing out on when you choose a laptop at this price. You’re giving up things like a standout screen, dedicated graphics, and a bundled stylus. If you can do without those, you’ll like the C740 quite a lot. But as other sub-$1,000 competitors continue to innovate, I hope that the budget Yoga line finds a way to keep up.

However, we were able to get a thing or two for them. One of the major positives of this laptop’s Pen usage is its accuracy. We found it to be more accurate than the Yoga 730 for example. The Yoga C740 (14) also has better palm rejection, while the biggest issue we had was when the screen was handled with oily hands. After that, the stylus seems to slide or skip a pixel, mainly because of the unevenness of the surface. So make sure you clean it well with screen spray and a cloth towel before you go on your drawing endeavors.

Intel UHD Graphics 620:
GPU integrata (GT2, 24 EUs) si trova su alcuni modelli CPU Kaby-Lake-Refresh (15 W ULV series). Tecnicamente è identica alla precedente GPU Kaby-Lake chiamata HD Graphics 620.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

i5-10210U: Processore quad-core a bassa potenza basato su Comet Lake (tecnicamente identico a Whiskey Lake e ancora prodotto in 14nm++). I core della CPU possono clockare tra 1,6 e 4,2 GHz (tutti e 4 i core a 3,9 GHz max.) con HyperThreading (8 thread). Il controller di memoria integrato supporta DDR4-2666 e utilizzando cTDP su/giù le prestazioni possono essere regolate dall'OEM (10 - 25 Watt possibili, 15W di default). Rispetto al più veloce i5-10510U, la cache di livello 3 è stata ridotta da 8 a 6 MB.
