EN→ITThe Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 1 (AMD) is an unpretentious business device that doesn’t feature jaw-dropping specs but it has enough power for usual daily tasks or normal office work. Our device has an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U and we didn’t experience any slowdowns or system hangs during testing. The laptop definitely feels snappy but keep in mind that the default 4-core CPU variant (which is the Ryzen 3 7330U) isn’t a multitasking beast. The cooling solution is adequate. Thanks to it, the 8-core Ryzen 7 7730U (which is the top processor variant for the series) can maintain a stable ~2.70 GHz clock no matter the load alongside good temperatures. The noise under load is kept as low as possible without sacrificing the performance – the single fan is almost quiet when the CPU is stressed at max. On the outside, the keyboard doesn’t feel hot so you can use the laptop even when the processor is under heavy load. The input devices are a pleasant surprise. The keyboard is cozy for long typing sessions and the touchpad is smooth.

Come forse hai intuito, leggendo la recensione di Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen1, questo computer tutto sommato ci è piaciuto, anche se non ci ha scatenato un entusiasmo travolgente. ci piace molto il tratto distintivo IBM con alcuni elementi che sono recuperati dalla tradizione del grande marchio americano, ora di proprietà del colosso cinese Lenovo. Lo abbiamo scritto nel corso della nostra recensione e lo ribadiamo anche ora: pur non essendo uno di quei computer che travolgono per la quantità di specifiche tecniche estreme, sembra essere un prodotto solido e affidabile, destinato a durare nel tempo. L’idea che ci siamo fatti di Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 1 è quella di un maratoneta in grado di uscire alla distanza per la capacità di resistere ai maltrattamenti e di garantire una funzionamento sempre ineccepibile.

Questo notebook è rivolto tanto agli utenti domestici come a chi necessita di un portatile per lavorare tutto il giorno: grazie allo schermo da 16 pollici di diagonale con rapporto di 16:10 la superficie di lavoro è sempre elevata a tutto vantaggio della produttività personale. La potenza di calcolo a disposizione permette di gestire facilmente le tipiche applicazioni, da quelle legate al mondo web al pacchetto Office. Per questa tipologia di utenti ThinkPad E16 rappresenta una valida scelta, potendo contare su una costruzione solida e sulla generale qualità costruttiva dei prodotti a marchio ThinkPad. I limiti dello schermo sono ben percepibili quando si passa a quegli scenari nei quali la qualità d'immagine è regina: editing video e di immagini, quindi, si prestano meglio come scenari d'uso con altre tipologie di notebook.

EN→ITThis particular AMD configuration of the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 is roughly as blood-pumping as watching a documentary on cellular mitosis. I really appreciate the quality of its keyboard and touchpad, yet I’m equally disappointed by its poor screen and embarrassing storage. If you’re a casual business user in the market for an attractive laptop that feels terrific to type on, $750 doesn’t feel like a completely outrageous outlay. Then again, the best business laptops offer so much more. In fact, our current number one pick in the excellent Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano is actually cheaper than the E16 at time of writing, as the Nano is on sale for $643 at Amazon — though that deal admittedly involves a third-party seller. As someone who lives and breathes top-tier display tech, hoo-boy is the screen of this Lenovo hard to endorse. As much as I appreciate the quality of its keyboard and the typing experiences it’s given me, I just can’t recommend this configuration of the Lenovo ThinkPad E16.

EN→ITGiven its name, it should come as no shock that the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 is essentially an enlarged version of the entry-level ThinkPad E14. Like the E14, the E16 is a basic business laptop powered by either Intel or AMD processors and is designed for essential productivity tasks at an affordable price. While the ThinkPad E14 is now in its fifth generation, the E16 is the first of its type. On reflection, it's surprising it has taken Lenovo this long to decide there is a market for a larger version of its entry-level laptop.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G7 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 80 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Scheda grafica integrata nei SoC Intel Tiger Lake G4 basati sulla nuova architettura Gen. 12 con 96 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore. I chip Tiger Lake sono prodotti nel moderno processo 10nm+ di Intel.

R7 7730U: Un'APU octa-core basata su Zen 3 per i computer portatili che funziona da 2 GHz a 4,5 GHz e presenta l'iGPU Vega 8 (8 CU con clock fino a 2.000 MHz). Aggiornamento del 2022 Ryzen 7 5825U con le stesse specifiche.
R5 7530U: APU mobile a sei core con core Zen 3 con clock da 2 a 4,5 GHz e adattatore grafico Vega con 7 CU con clock fino a 2 GHz.
Intel Raptor Lake-U:
i5-1335U: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 2 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 12 thread che possono essere elaborati. Il clock della CPU va da 0,9 a 4,6 GHz. Il TDP è specificato a 15 Watt.
