Intel Celeron 6305

L'Intel Celeron 6305 (o 6305U) è un SoC dual-core ad alta efficienza energetica per laptop e Ultrabook basato sulla generazione Tiger Lake-U annunciata nel terzo trimestre del 2020. Integra solo due core di processore Willow Cove (2 thread come nessun HyperThreading/SMT). La velocità di clock è impostata a 1,8 GHz in quanto il chip non supporta Turbo Boost. Grazie ai miglioramenti architetturali dei core della CPU, il Celeron 6305 dovrebbe essere ancora più veloce del vecchio Celeron 5205U basato su Comet Lake-U (1,9 GHz, senza Turbo).

Un'altra novità è la scheda grafica Xe integrata basata sulla nuovissima architettura Gen 12. Dovrebbe offrire prestazioni significativamente più elevate rispetto alla vecchia UHD Graphics G1 (Ice Lake). Nel 6305U Intel la chiama solo UHD Graphics e offre 48 EU.

Altri miglioramenti di Ice Lake dovrebbero essere integrati anche in Tiger Lake come l'accelerazione hardware AI e la parziale integrazione di Thunderbolt e Wifi 6 nel chip.

Il chip è prodotto nel processo migliorato 10nm+ (chiamato 10 nm SuperFin) alla Intel che dovrebbe essere paragonabile al processo 7nm alla TSMC (ad es. serie Ryzen 4000).
