Intel i5-10400F

L'Intel Core i5-10400F è un processore di fascia media per desktop con sei core basati sull'architettura Comet Lake (CML-S, 4a generazione di Skylake). Il processore si blocca tra i 4,1 e i 4,8 GHz e può eseguire fino a 12 thread contemporaneamente grazie all'Hyper-Threading. 

Il processore è ancora prodotto nel vecchio processore a 14nm (14nm++).

L'architettura Comet Lake è simile a quella di Coffee Lake e offre le stesse caratteristiche ed è prodotto nello stesso processo a 14 nm. Oltre alle velocità di clock migliorate, il controllore di memoria ora supporta anche la RAM DDR4-2933 più veloce. Prestazioni

Grazie alle elevate velocità di clock (e alle possibili impostazioni TDP con la maggior parte delle schede madri), il Core i5-10400F offre una buona performance di gioco e grazie ai 6 core anche una buona performance applicativa.

Grafica

L'iGPU integrata Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU UHD 630 dovrebbe offrire prestazioni simili a quelle dell'UHD630 nel Core i7-9900K. Come soluzione di fascia bassa, funzionerà senza problemi con i giochi attuali solo con dettagli ridotti, se non addirittura con dettagli ridotti.

Consumo di energia

Intel specifica il TDP a 65 Watt (PL1) ma a pieno carico fino a 134 Watt sono consumati (PL2) per un massimo di 28 secondi (Tau).
