Intel E-2276M

L'Intel Xeon E-2276M è un processore di fascia alta per computer portatili professionali con sei core basati sull'architettura Coffee Lake. Il processore clockizza tra 2,8 - 4,7 GHz e può eseguire fino a dodici thread contemporaneamente grazie all'Hyper-Threading / SMT. Secondo Intel, la CPU è prodotta in un processore migliorato a 14nm (14nm++). Rispetto all'analogo Core i7-9850H di consumo, lo Xeon mobile offre il supporto per la memoria principale ECC e gli orologi 100-200 MHz superiori.

L'architettura di Coffee Lake è simile a quella di Kaby Lake e si differenzia solo per la quantità di core (ora sei core per le versioni di fascia alta) e per il processore migliorato a 14nm (14nm++ secondo Intel).

Prestazioni

Lo Xeon E-2276M è un processore di fascia alta nel 2019 e quindi adatto a tutti i compiti. Grazie all'elevato Turbo Boost, anche le prestazioni del singolo core sono molto buone. Le prestazioni a lungo termine, tuttavia, dipendono molto dal buon raffreddamento e dalle corrette impostazioni del TDP e si differenziano quindi per ogni portatile.

Grafica

La iGPU integrata Intel UHD Graphics P630 iGPU è la stessa della vecchia Intel HD Graphics P630 e l'unica differenza rispetto alla UHD Graphics 630 nei modelli consumer sono i driver professionali.

Consumo di energia

Intel specifica il TDP con 45 watt e quindi lo Xeon è adatto solo per i grandi portatili con buone soluzioni di raffreddamento.
