Il suo essere costruito in maniera responsabile, sostenibile e con materiali provenienti da fonti e fornitori certificati, metalli per la batteria compresa, fa alzare il prezzo che uno smartphone standard con la stessa scheda tecnica avrebbe. Si parla infatti di 579 euro per la versione 6/128GB e per 649 euro la 8/256GB. Io posso dire di averlo usato per una settima senza problemi, eccetto forse per qualità della fotocamera, e questo mi lascia riflettere.. che la tecnologia si sia un po' fermata e nell'ultimo anno si stia involvendo? Lui comunque costa sì ma mi piace la filosofia e il pensiero che c'è dietro!

A five-year warranty and a pledge of six years of software support is far longer than any other Android manufacturer. And there’s nothing else on the market that is designed to be taken apart and repaired at home with just a standard screwdriver. There’s no headphone socket though, and wifi and mobile performance was a little weak. As with previous models, the Fairphone 4 best competes with the likes of the £300 OnePlus Nord CE, meaning you are paying about a £200 premium for ethical construction and vastly longer support. Overall it is a great device for people who want to support the company’s movement and are prepared to pay over the odds to do so.
