Come ho detto all'inizio amore odio. E' più amore che odio, per l'uso pesantissimo di tutti i giorni che ne faccio io è perfetto. Ha un bellissimo display, una buona autonomia, un'ottima affidabilità, buonissime prestazioni e una costruzione impeccabile. Ci sono difetti, si, scelte incomprensibili, di rottura se vuoi. Scelte che avrei preferito non subire per non dover girare con un corredo di adattatori o almeno scelte graduali. Mettere una USB normale o un lettore di SD già a me personalmente avrebbero migliorato tanto l'esperienza d'uso. Ma tant'è....le subisco, mi adatto...e lo compro! maledetta mela!

Il MacBook Pro 15” 2016 è oggettivamente un computer strepitoso. Il linguaggio stilistico inizia ad essere un po’ stantio, ma in questo modello il corpo è stato visivamente ridotto e i piccoli tocchi dovuti al nuovo colore Grigio Siderale, al Trackpad gigantesco ed alla Touch Bar gli hanno garantito una notevole rinfrescata anche all’esterno. Alcune delle sue principali doti sono state confermate e migliorate, come lo schermo o la tastiera, per non parlare dell’audio, ma ha anche diversi difetti. Il più evidente è sicuramente il prezzo che, giustificabile o meno, parte da sontuosi 2.799€.

MacBook Pro 15 è un prodotto abbastanza controverso, con elementi molto buoni, alcuni non completamente convincenti ed altri discutibili. Dal punto di vista costruttivo siamo dinnanzi ad un prodotto molto valido: lo chassis in alluminio unibody assicura una ottima robustezza strutturale, un fattore sicuramente importante per un dispositivo che per sua natura verrà trasportato frequentemente e comunque non avrà un modello d'uso "stanziale". Da non dimenticare inoltre la totale assenza di elementi meccanici (unica eccezione, le ventole di raffreddamento), fattore che contribuisce ad incrementare l'affidabilità generale del sistema riducendo al minimo gli eventuali malfunzionamenti dovuti all'usura.

Chiudo qua, perché mi sembra di aver fatto capire a chi è interessato a questa macchina se vale o meno la pena spendere dai 2800 ai 4140 euro per comprarne una. La risposta è sì, se il contesto lo rende necessario e possibile (il salto prestazionale sui modelli precedenti merita l’upgrade - si nota bene anche nei benchmark, e le novità funzionali sono veri, nuovi strumenti). La risposta è no se il tempo ci ha portati verso altre idee e modi di fare. In un certo senso, è un Mac che va bene per chi ha già un Mac adeguato. Chi trova incompletezza su un Macbook Pro 2014 non risolverà con questo modello perché i concetti che lo regolano, per quanto di evoluzione superiore, sono gli stessi.
