Non costa poco e bisogna superare la barriera psicologica che difficilmente fa acquistare un Acer a oltre 1000 euro. Ma se lo comprerete e non avete bisogno di potenza pura e bruta per fare editing 4k o h265 spinti, rimarrete stupiti da come questa "sottiletta" giri bene e quanto sia comodo da portare in giro. Costruito e rifinito ottimamente, non ha dato segni di cedimento nell'uso quotidiano, office, web. In realtà sono anche riuscito a montare un video con anche pezzi di girato in H265 senza troppe difficoltà. Ovvio che il successivo rendering non sia stato velocissimo. ma questa macchina punta ad altro e per portabilità e leggerezza oltre che costruzione, è il miglior windows provato fino ad ora.

Per quanto estremo nella portabilità resta una portatile classico e comodo, equilibrato nella tastiera, nello schermo, nell'impianto audio e nella componentistica. Si potrebbe migliorare con un telaio più compatto (ci sono 13 pollici più piccoli) e con un sistema di retroilluminazione dei tasti, ma già così è un affinamento degli Ultrabook Windows attuali e passati. Acer is selling the Swift 7 in select stores and on Flipkart at Rs.99,999, making it line up against the Dell XPS 13 and the HP Spectre 13, both of which have now been refreshed with Kaby Lake Core i5 processors but cost around Rs.10,000 more than their original prices. All things considered, you're probably better off putting in that extra money and buying either the Dell or HP. This doesn’t mean the Swift 7 is a bad product but we feel that it simply isn't competitive enough.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
