EN→IT Archive.org versionSo, this laptop is not something too impressive. It features new, yet incapable hardware, a small battery, and input devices that are the epitome of compromise. On the other hand, it is not like we expected this to be different. In fact, the battery life is not that bad with just over 8 hours of Web browsing, and roughly 6 hours and a half of video playback. As we said at the beginning, you can’t expect to not make sacrifices at this price point. Moreover, the compromises will be arguably more than the features, so you have to brace yourself. On the other hand, we are happy with Acer’s approach to the device, as it doesn’t look particularly cheap. And despite all of the misfortunes around the machine, the biggest one in our view is the TN panel. So if you happen to find a configuration equipped with an IPS display, it might be worth your hard-earned money. In fact, the 17-inch Acer Aspire 3 (A317-33) came with a fairly decent package.

Intel UHD Graphics (Jasper Lake 32 EU):
Scheda grafica integrata nei modelli Intel Jasper Lake Pentium Silver basati sull'architettura Gen. 11. Offre tutti i 32 EU (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La frequenza di clock dipende dal modello di processore che va da 350 MHz base a 900 MHz boost. I chip Jasper Lake sono prodotti nel processo a 10nm di Intel (simile a Ice Lake).
La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

Pentium N6000:
SoC quad-core a basso consumo della serie JAsper Lake per notebook economici. Funziona con clock tra 1.1 - 3.3 GHz e integra un adattatore grafico capace di DirectX 12 con 32 EU. I core della CPU sono più piccoli e più lenti di quelli delle CPU Core (ad esempio Ice Lake) ma prodotti con lo stesso processo a 10nm.
