AMD R5 6600H

AMD Ryzen 5 6600H è un processore per computer portatili di grandi dimensioni (da gioco) basato sulla generazione Rembrandt. L'R5 6600H integra sei degli otto core basati sulla microarchitettura Zen 3+. Hanno un clock da 3,3 (clock di base garantito) a 4,5 GHz (Turbo) e supportano SMT / Hyperthreading (12 thread). Il chip è prodotto con il moderno processo TSMC a 6 nm. 

Il nuovo Zen 3+ è un aggiornamento dell'architettura Zen 3 e non dovrebbe offrire molti cambiamenti. Il chip stesso, tuttavia, offre molte nuove funzionalità, come il supporto per USB 4 (40 Gbps), PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s o LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 e decodifica AV1.

Le prestazioni del processore dovrebbero essere superiori a quelle del vecchio Ryzen 5 5600H grazie alle frequenze di clock più elevate.  Tuttavia, le nuove CPU Alder Lake serie H, come l'i5-12600H, dovrebbero offrire prestazioni superiori.

Nella serie 6000, AMD è finalmente passata all'attuale architettura grafica RDNA 2 per l'iGPU. Il 6600H offre solo la più lenta Radeon 660M con 6 delle 12 CU abilitate e una frequenza di clock massima di 1,9 GHz.

Il TDP dell'APU è di 45 Watt (valore predefinito). L'efficienza energetica dovrebbe essere molto buona, grazie al processo migliorato a 6 nm e alle funzioni aggiuntive di risparmio energetico della serie 6000.
