AMD Radeon HD 8410G

L'AMD Radeon HD 8410G è una scheda grafica inserita in alcune APUs ultra-low voltage AMD Richland (A6-5345M). Ha un numero ridotto di 192 shader cores (Architettura VLIW4) ed un clock da 450 - 600 MHz. La 8410G non ha memoria grafica dedicata, ma condivide la memoria principale con i cores CPU.

Il video decoder integrato (UVD3) consente la piena decodifica di videos Multi-View Codec (MVC), MPEG-4 Part 2 (DivX, xVid), MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 ed Adobe Flash HD.

Stando alle specifiche, le prestazioni dovrebbero essere simili alla HD Graphics 4000. Pertanto, la Radeon HD 8410G dovrebbe collocarsi allo stesso livello della HD 7470M dedicata. Tuttavia senza una veloce memoria dual-channel le prestazioni crollano in modo drammatico. Gli shaders del chip possono essere usati anche per calcoli generici.

L'APU è realizzata in 32nm ed ha un TDP di 17 watts. Questo consente al chip di essere utilizzato in portatili da 11 pollici o superiori.
