AMD Pro A10-8700B

L'AMD Pro A10-8700B è una APU Carrizo di fascia media del 2015 per portatili mainstream. Si tratta di un SoC che contiene due moduli CPU Excavator (con 4 cores integer e 2 FP che funzionano come 4 compute cores), una scheda grafica Radeon R7 con 6 compute cores (384 shaders), un controller di memoria DDR3-2133 (35 Watt cTDP) ed un motore video (incluso UVD 6 con decodifica hardware HEVC / H.265).

E' simile alla versione consumer, A10-8700P, ma offre supporto business e garantisce un esteso supporto per i programmi. 

Le performances dei cores CPU e GPU dipendono dalla configurazione del TDP. Questo cTDP può variare da 12 a 35 Watts in base alla soluzione di raffreddamento ed alle dimensioni del portatile. Pertanto, la velocità clock dei compute cores varierà. I.e., la GPU si attesta tra 1764 punti (15 Watts) e 2359 punti (+34% con cTDP da 35 Watts) nel 3DMark 11 (P). Le prestazioni CPU con un cTDP da 35 Watt dovrebbero essere appena sopra una Kaveri A10-7400P. Se configurata a 15 Watts, la CPU dovrebbe essere nettamente più lenta in quanto la velocità Boost non può essere mantenuta per lunghi periodi.
