AMD A10-8700P

L'AMD A10-8700P è una APU di fascia media Carrizo del 2015 per portatili mainstream. E' un SoC che contiene due moduli CPU Excavator (con 4 unità integer e 2 FP come 4 compute cores), una scheda Radeon R7 con 6 compute cores (384 shaders), un controller di memoria DDR3-2133 (35 Watt cTDP) ed un motore video (incluso UVD 6 con decoding hardware HEVC / H.265).

Le performances dei cores CPU e GPU dipendono dalla configurazione TDP. Il cTDP può variare da 12 a 35 Watts in base alla soluzione di raffreddamento e alle dimensioni del portatile. Pertanto, la velocità clock dei compute cores varierà. Ad esempio, la GPU si attesta tra 1764 punti (15 Watts) e 2359 punti (+34% con cTDP da 35 Watt) nel 3DMark 11 (P). Le performance CPU con cTDP da 35 Watt dovrebbero essere leggermente sopra alla Kaveri A10-7400P. Se configurata a 15 Watts, la CPU dovrebbe essere nettamente più lenta in quanto la velocità Boost non può essere mantenuta per lunghi periodi.
