AMD A10-5750M

L'AMD A10-5750M è un processore quad-core mobile basato sull'architettura Richland. In quanto successore dell'A10-4600M, l'A10-5750M offre prestazioni CPU e grafiche leggermente superiori e rappresenta il nuovo modello top della serie A (Marzo 2013).

Rispetto alla Trinity, la Richland è stata modificata di poco. Di conseguenza, non si rilevano modifiche nel set di feature o nelle prestazioni Pro-MHz. The design del chip si basa ancora sull'architettura Bulldozer, che consiste nei cosiddetti moduli. Ognuno dei due moduli integra 2 unità integer, ma solo una FPU. Proprio come la Trinity, la Richland supporta quasi tutte le attuali tecniche come l'AVX (inclusa FMA), l'AES o il Turbo Core.

Il primo benchmark PCMark 7 mostra un incremento di prestazioni di circa il 10 percento rispetto alla A10-4600M (5750M: 2175 punti, 4600M: 1965 punti). Pertanto, la A10-5750M dovrebbe collocarsi appena al livello del Core i3-2330M (Sandy Bridge).

L'unità grafica chiamata Radeon HD 8650G offre 384 unità shader (VLIW4) ed un clock da 533 - 720 MHz (leggermente superiore a quello dell'HD 7660G). Con una veloce memoria dual-channel, le prestazioni dovrebbero superare la HD 7670M dedicata.

Il consumo energetico di tutta la APU è di 35 watts, un valore paragonabile ai modelli convenzionali di fascia media. Pertanto, la APU è più adatta a portatili da 14 pollici o superiori.
